WHO IS CINEMA QUESO?
Over the last three years, Cinema Queso has produced a bevy of short films, resulting in two complete DVDs, with a third on the way. These short films have screened in a number of film festivals of various sizes, including The Northwest Film and Video Festival, The Bend Film Festival, Longbaugh Film Festival, Bumbershoot, Independent Tuesday @ ACME, and our parents’ collective living rooms.

Queso has managed to maintain a solid core of a dozen members, sometimes 13. Combined, they are their own fully functioning film crew, with professional experience in all aspects of film production. Dozens of quality films aside, their greatest achievement may be existing as long as they have without tearing out each others throats.

But the guys and gals of Queso are a tight-knit group. They all live together in an immense secret underground lair / film studio… a fact not known by many, since no one outside the group has ever seen this place. Therein they exist in an environment of burgeoning creativity, constant learning, giant bean-bag chairs and robot butlers. To this day, no one is really quite sure how they got the money or technology to build the Queso-mobile, a 1981 Volkswagen Bus, modified with the doors of a DeLorean, and possessing full hover capabilities. All that is known for sure, is that it is pretty damn sweet.
